A Resource To Support Soulmates and Sacred Loving
Loving More Deeply This Year
Foundational Step II ~ Nurturing Our Spiritual Core
Loving is an Act of Grace. We love because we ARE Love, because all of life is Love, because we are created of Divine Love. We express our essence and our natures when we love. We express Divine nature and the nature of Life, and we celebrate Its glory.
To cultivate a stronger capacity for loving and a more receptive and responsive “womb” for being loved, it is necessary to strengthen our spiritual center ~ to nurture and give consistent, loving attention to our spirituality, so it may be vital. If we are more attuned spiritually, our hearts are stronger, and we are, correspondingly, more attuned to our Divine loving nature and Its vast capacity for love.
It is sometimes hard to feel that we can give ourselves permission and time to have a spiritual practice. The demands of daily life can be so great, or we may not know what will work for us or how to begin to create structure for ourselves with it.
I find that spiritual practice is very personal. Whether we ascribe to a particular ideological system, church or religious organization, or we work more singularly on our spiritual growth, it is a deeply individual process, and it is important that we honor our own natures and needs as we find what is most true and supportive for us. Basically, we are more inclined to continue with it, if our practice is resonant with our natural flow.
Following are some examples of different ways that we may be able to support and cultivate spiritual strength: Someone who may be inclined to feel spiritually connected in nature may wish to walk to the beach regularly and pray or commune spiritually outside. Someone else may feel more connected through meditation and wish to schedule blocks of time to regularly meditate. Another may choose to go to mass daily. And, another may prefer to read inspirational writings or listen to uplifting music. Others may wish to journal and ask to receive guidance. People with artistic temperaments may prefer to create . . .
What is most important in strengthening spiritually is to develop and establish a practice that works for you. If we identify the “language” that is most natural for us in connecting and communicating with our Divine nature and Divine Presence itself, we are well on our way to maintaining that practice, to markedly improving our lives and deepening our capacities for loving. We can add variety and dimension to our practice as well.
Spiritual practice strengthens our hearts and souls and our connection with the Divine. This empowers us, enriches our lives and assists us in our quest to love ever more beautifully and completely. It does not matter to the Divine which form of practice we take ~ only that we take one ~ to help us joyfully transform our lives and become the best we can be.
